07 TIE Pilot

What we have here is a Model Trem Brazilian lead bootleg complete with box and weapon. Model Trem bootlegs are few and far between and to find them in such nice shape and complete with box and weapon is even harder. TIE Pilot is one of the few figures to have shown up with variants in color. It's nice to see the 2 side by side.

The second image shows that not only does the TIE Pilot come with variants in paint ops but also in sculpting. Take note of the forearms, shoulders, and the inverted T on the back of the head.

The third image is something completely new. Just by looking at this one can see that it's not your standard fare. The figure itself appears to be more beefy than the one pictured in the first image. In fact, it could almost pass for a licensed figure. If you look at the side you'll notice that the arms and legs are not held on with screws as the standard ones are. This means that the torso was made in two pieces as with a licensed Kenner figure.

It's not clear yet whether these came earlier or later or why the style was changed. All that is known is that several of these figures have turned up like this including:
