| According to Steve Sansweet's Galaxy Collector article, the storyline would have had Tarkin narrowly escaping the Death Star's destruction. He emerges from hiding and attempts to take command of the Imperial Military. The use of a movie photograph here indicates that not much work was done on the development of a Tarkin figure.
