Early Bird Kit: This is the legendary Early Bird Kit that contained a cardboard display stand, some stickers, and a form to send away for four figures that weren't available in time for the 1977 Holiday Season. The Early Bird Kit featured in this photo is the first Kenner Star Wars item I got for my collection in 1977. Little did I know at the time I bought it, that it would be the first in a long line of Star Wars toys that I would add to my collection.
